Tankquil is a tool to help you care for your aquarium — you remain in control of the decisions you make.
These Terms of Use govern your use of Tankquil, provided by Tankquil LLC (“Tankquil,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Tankquil, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.
Purpose of Tankquil
Tankquil is designed to help users track and manage aquarium information, including water parameters, testing, maintenance, dosing schedules, and related aquarium records.
Tankquil provides informational tools and guidance intended to assist with aquarium care. It does not guarantee specific aquarium, water-quality, livestock, or equipment outcomes.
Aquarium Guidance and Dosing Calculations
Tankquil may provide recommended ranges, dosing calculations, maintenance guidance, or other aquarium-related information.
Aquarium conditions can vary significantly between systems. Before adding any chemical, supplement, medication, or treatment to your aquarium, you should verify the product instructions, confirm your tank volume and current water parameters, and follow the manufacturer's directions for the exact product being used.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use recommendations or calculations provided by Tankquil.
Accuracy of Information
We work to make Tankquil's information and calculations as accurate and useful as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, or appropriate for every aquarium.
You are responsible for entering accurate information into the app and reviewing calculations before acting on them.
Your Data and Privacy
Tankquil does not currently require an account to use the app. Aquarium records entered into Tankquil are stored locally on your device during normal app use.

User Responsibilities
You agree to use Tankquil responsibly and only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the care of your aquarium, livestock, equipment, and property and for decisions made using information provided by the app.
Third-Party Products, Trademarks, Content, and Services
Tankquil may identify and reference third-party aquarium products, manufacturers, brands, content, or services in connection with dosing calculators, educational information, species information, images, platform services, external resources, and other app features.
Third-party product names, company names, trademarks, service marks, and other brand identifiers are the property of their respective owners. References to third-party products or manufacturers are provided for identification and informational purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tankquil LLC is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by, or associated with any manufacturer or brand referenced within Tankquil.
Product-specific calculators and related information may be based on manufacturer-published product information and instructions available when the applicable information was reviewed. Manufacturers may change product formulations, concentrations, instructions, recommended dosages, packaging, or other product information without notice to Tankquil.
Before using any chemical, supplement, medication, treatment, or other aquarium product, you should verify the current product label and manufacturer instructions for the exact product being used. If information provided by Tankquil differs from current manufacturer instructions, follow the current manufacturer instructions.
Tankquil does not manufacture, control, independently certify, or guarantee third-party products and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, policies, practices, formulation, performance, or suitability of third-party products, content, or services.
App Availability and Changes
We may add, modify, or remove Tankquil features as the app evolves. We cannot guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the app will operate without interruption or error.
Intellectual Property
The Tankquil name, logo, branding, app design, original content, and related materials are owned by Tankquil LLC or are licensed or otherwise lawfully used and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed except as permitted by applicable law or with appropriate authorization.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Tankquil is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Tankquil LLC does not guarantee that the app, its information, calculations, or features will always be accurate, complete, current, available, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular aquarium or purpose.
Limitation of Liability
The Tankquil name, logo, branding, app design, original content, and related materials are owned by Tankquil LLC or are licensed or otherwise lawfully used and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed except as permitted by applicable law or with appropriate authorization.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as Tankquil evolves. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
