Privacy Policy
Your aquarium data belongs to you.
Tankquil is designed with privacy in mind. Your aquarium records are stored locally on your device during normal app use, and no account is required.
Information Stored in Tankquil
Aquarium information you enter into Tankquil — such as tank details, water-parameter readings, notes, dosing schedules, and other aquarium records — is stored locally on your device.
Information You Choose to Share
If you contact Tankquil for support, submit feedback, or request a feature, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, email address, screenshots, or other details included in your message. We use that information only to respond to your request and provide support.
Photos and Online Content
Certain app features may load content, such as species images, over a secure internet connection. Tankquil does not require you to upload your aquarium data as part of normal tracking and testing.
Notifications
Tankquil may use local notifications for reminders you choose to configure. These reminders are handled by your device and do not require a Tankquil account.
Backups
Depending on your device and operating-system settings, locally stored Tankquil data may be included in device backups provided by Apple or another platform provider. Those backups are governed by the provider's own privacy practices.
Deleting Your Data
Tankquil provides tools for removing locally stored aquarium information. Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to any backups maintained by your device or platform provider.
Third-Party Services
Tankquil may rely on services provided by Apple, Google, Wix, or other technology providers for functions such as app distribution, website hosting, email, or device backups. Those services may process information according to their own privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Tankquil evolves. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
